In the last 3 years, Luongo has played in 8 playoff series, and had massive collapses in 4 of em. Not a soft goal; Collapses!

And In those eight series he'd be LUCKY to have been the best goalie in half of them too......

.....50/50 good odds to you? Last year you could make a case that he only outplayed Antti Niemi in San Jose out of the 4 rounds. And If it's 50/50 he'll implode every round, then how do we know he'll EVER string 4 together. Yes he got to game 7 of the final, but how much was in SPITE of Luongo

That's what made the gold medal game so suspenseful for vancouver fans, we KNEW Luongo could explode at any moment.

@epicfail86 obviously it was a team effort but Luongo was a huge reason why they lost. The canucks did not have confidence in roberta and I don't blame them. Sorry but it is luongos fault when he lets in a early goal and the team can not build of anything after that. Sorry luongo was the biggest factor in the Canucks loss.

sorry but NO team is going to win a cup if their forwards and D-men combine to score 8 goals in 7 games no matter how many times the goalie bails them out. So yes there were other things more important than Lu.

Uh, all the games matter the same amount. The entire team choked in the entire SCF (except the 3rd line), and Lu only choked for 4 out of 7. Lu wasn't the biggest problem.

@epicfail86 When you go into the cup finals, you know you have to get atleast 1 road win to get the cup, you have to be able to play well on the road too, not just at home.. And luongo blew it on the road, yes he did choke when it mattered most game 6...

Vancouver scored how many goals in the Finals? Oh yeah, 8. How many wins did we get? 3. 8 goals in 7 games and yet, we win 3 of 4. Does that make sense to you?
