Kim Jong-il funeral: Hysteria as cortege moves through Pyongyang snow

Tens of thousands gathered in Pyongyang to witness the funeral of former North Korean leader Kim Jong-il

The images show Kim Jong Un walking alongside his father's hearse as it left the huge square of the Kumsusan Memorial Palace.

Weeping mourners line the streets, some pressing toward the procession as it passes, but security guards hold them back.

Just look at the differences between South Korea and North Korea. South Korea is a Western-style prosperous individualistic liberal democracy with human rights and the rule of law, the society is high-tech, modern, complex, urban and globalized, and the government is changed by peaceful argument, debate and voting, rather than by force. Any sane person knows which system is superior.
