is this movie a remake of something? or was a cartoon?

wat is it because ppl are naming lots of the characters of the movie..i feel like i missed something

This has nothing to do with the cartoon. That movie is called The Last Airbender. This all takes place on another planet called Pandora. We are trying to mine a mineral there and the natives (Na'vi) don't want to help us so we created Na'vi hybrids (avatars) because we can't breath the air there to mine the mineral.

They are showing footage at Comic Con so im hoping well see what they show. They said the trailer would be out mid to late august. comic con is the end of this month

i think the whole thing is sooo tight, i mean only 2 or 3 leaked images gave come out and thier not even good quality. or even proved to be real, just an blurry blue arm and foot. This has been made for years and thats basically all thats leaked...wow.

there was a select viewing for some press and IMAX theater owners at Comicon yea, but the official trailer, toys, Merchandise, game, and an Advertising Campaign will officially start on Aug. 21

Oh, there'll be a trailer on the 21st? The thing I thought would be a trailer turned out to be a private viewing by a select group of people at Comicon, I think it was Comicon, of some footage from the movie.

how come no one was polite enough to bootleg it for us, i men they can do it for new moon, but not AVATAR wich apparenty took alot more work and $MONEY$ to make.
