A Ferrari F360 Spider crashed into a tree at a Ferrari Fun Day. The driver and passenger, a member of the public that had made a donation for the ride, managed to get out of the burning car. The event held in aid of the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust and other charities was at the Newbury Show Ground, UK on 190709. The event carried on after the incident raising further funds for the charities.

Yes, you're right it was a friend of his's car... Truly gutted.
Do you have footage of the actual crash?

Many thanks for advising the true events, the original wording was taken from the local newspaper report. I hope it hasn't put you off and you will have a go again next year. The driver seemed quite shaken too (footage not posted) I understand it wasn't even his car! JH

I'd just like to say that in the descroption it says, "both driver and passenger got out before the fire started". This is not true, the fire started whilst both the driver and the passenger were still inside. I know this because I was passenger.
Shook me up a bit but it was an experience, thanks for catching the flames on camera :L
