@Filmslammer i guess its cause if u look at this style compared to the ninetys one its definetly a lazyer and easier style to draw in than the 90s one
@SpiritsRise That wasn't to show torment at all. That was 1) Raimi having fun and 2) showing that Peter is a huge dork that thinks he's cool. Which is great. He's being self centered. He's being so unbelievably cocky that he doesn't realize or care that others view him as a complete dork.
It's not a terrible movie. Of course people have a right to dislike it, especially if it disappointed them.
@SpiritsRise No. It was very obvious what they were attempting to do. That was the whole reason behind casting Topher Grace, a guy that looks like Tobey Maguire. Not to mention the fact that his character acts like Peter does when he has the black suit on.
It's not a terrible movie. It's just one that several people bitch about for no reason.
@SpiritsRise That's stupid. Comments are comments. I'll reply to them no matter how old they are. Especially if they're top comments.
And it was all about metaphors. What was in Spider-Man 3 wasn't really Venom. But it still worked for the film. They made a film where Peter Parker was becoming self-centred and we had a sympathetic villain. The black suit was a metaphor for his conceition.
Once he shed the suit, it found someone similar to Peter and became an embodiment of his corruption.
Why do villains have to set up the damsel in distress for the hero to save?? Can't they just kill them strait away.

Thanks, although I'm still in disagreement.

@VenomShock Yes because we all know that the big dance scene was completely necessary to show how tormented Pet was
(sarcasm)
Its an absolutely horrid movie
Spider-Man fans have every right to dislike it
You seem smart, don't waste your time trying to prove that garbage was good

@VenomShock I'm sorry but when the trailer for the movie showed Venom
Everyone wanted the buff badass but instead we got a toothpick
Venom was tiny because movie-Eddie was inaccurately portrayed
it had nothing to do with metaphors
Also try to leave month old comments alone, its just annoying
