On April 25, 2003, Carol Duvall of "The Home Show" and the ubiquitously titled "The Carol Duvall Show" hit a milestone: taping 1000 episodes of television. The day was marked while in-studio with "The Carol Duvall Show" taping at Media City Studios in Burbank, CA. Guests in attendance included the crew and producers of HGTV's Carol Duvall Show as well as HGTV Network Executive Richard Grant and Executive Producers Robb Weller and Gary Grossman of Weller/Grossman Productions.

  • This is when HGTV had the brains to hire talent. Now they're like one, long, 20 hour program with 40 different titles. Carol, you can't possibly know how sorely you're missed. What passes for craft shows these days is pathetic. I hope you're enjoying every moment of your retirement. With much affection and fond memories, a fan.

  • @googbarbara Just saw this on facebook... Maybe someone will want a copy?

  • I so miss Carol's show and the old HGTV format. How many home improvement and real estate shows does humanity really need? HGTV once offered a nice diversity of programming.

  • I LOVE that the contract was written on a napkin! Too awesome!

  • I would LOVE to see more artist/crafting shows on HGTV like they used to have such as Modern Masters etc. Oh and of course The Carol Duvall Show :)

  • I also miss The Carol Duvall show! I watched it religiously when my kids were young & now they are both in college. I started my egg decorating business/craft a few months after seeing Jane Pollack on The Carol Duvall show for the first time. What a nice surprise to find this clip. WE MISS YOU CAROL!!!

  • Thanks for sharing this moment with us... I do so miss Carol and her show... I agree, nothing today compares!

  • Such good memories. And to think this is where we met Tim Holtz.

  • I have always looked forward for Carol Duvall's show. Her crafting guests and how-to were so simple that a cluts like me could make the projects she shared. Really wish her show was back on the air. Many shows now are so out of reach.

  • I miss this woman and her show!!!
