movie was awesome, quality and story line was really decent. i think some people say it wasn’t that good of a movie because they actually didn’t understand it. This series is so full ideology, politics and philosophy. it’s really beautiful to see all these complicated topic in an anime. i have to say a lot of mature content and deep thoughts. the final scene where the gundam assimilated the flowers had also a meaning, in other words the understanding that humanity finally achieved.

And to much characters, and aliens... I wanted to see gundam, robot vs. robot fights. If i wanted to see them fight aliens i would go watch macross. Nonetheless the message bandai and sunrise wanted to get across was there and that is wat gundam is about

FOR THE LAST TIME LOL: Flower at the ending was a projection of Setsuna memories of the desert flower that was oh so prominent throughout the entire series. Setsuna regarded the flower as a symbol of peace, hence ELS having made aware of his experiences, try to show the world that they actually come in peace, by transforming themselves into the flower that they thought symbolises peace. But I still think that the filmmakers could have made the link stronger
