I did some research..take a look at harpiesbizarre It says Dick was in constant pain due to a back injury and was taking pain pills. It says one day he showed up for work and hadn't been able to sleep the night before because of the pain. He had a seizure on the set and was rushed off to the hospital.

@whiskeyify well.. I know you have waited this for a year.. I hope you hear this note. Dick York didn't left beacause he had bad back.. actually he father died and he was so sad that could act anymore... :( I think Dick York is the best Darrin ever in this land... Rest in peace.. Dick York.. Born: 4 of September 1928 Died: 20 of Febuary 1992 And Elisabeht too Born: 15 of April 1933 Died: 18 of May 1995 and I miss Endora too Born: 6 of December 1900 Died: 30 of April 1974 :((

A sad day when Dick York fell sick on the set and was quickly replaced.
from what I read he had a bad back and had been taking pain pills for some time.

nicest couple ever in tv, quemistry was there.. shame elizabeth montgomery didnt aprecciate as a gift for the world her role as samantha is the best one on her carreer. both RIP
