I have to say, that's a great improvement on the TV series because;
1: 20 trucks as in the Railway Series (give or take)
2: James is still moving as soon as he clears the points.
3: The barber actually washes the shaving foam off Duck, and it stays that way after he is pulled clear.
4: Thomas is already nearby at the time, which provides a good reason for his being drafted in to help.

which version or the story? i have one where they show the movie version length in not only the thin book but the Thomas 26 book collection, could be differing versions

In the tv series there were only 6 but in the book there were 20 heavily loaded trucks. I try to make my episodes as acurrate to the Railway series whilst using to the Britt Allcroft TV adaptations
