@nrlrugbyleague Umm yeah man, I would be very impressed if you can throw weight, a large indicator and a set of glo bugs. If you want to practice before we meet, I suggest Cattle Rustlers on the Tongariro.
@rivergod21 Tell me about it. I took a couple of blokes who had been fishing for 10 years to the Poutu Pool on the tongariro and fished it from the highway side and they were unable to get their flies out of the water. So i can understand that you think i'm an "oh yea i can fish" fisherman. Any one who thinks there above learning is naive. If you mean that offer I will message you before I next come down. I'm gonna get into the business of guiding this coming summer.
@nrlrugbyleague God if I had a $ for everyone who said they could fish!!! Next time you make a smart arsed comment put a :) face after it, that way the person who has gone out of their way to bring you the information will know you are joking and not some random dick head. I would love to watch you throw some lead at some stage, so if you are interested, get in touch and Ill give you some free guiding, (or are above learning)?
@rivergod21 I've fished in Taupo since I was walking. Clearly I was just having a joke with the use of the word unsinkable. Don't talk to me about "when i learn to throw some weight around". I think you will find I'm as capable as yourself if not more at casting heavy bombs with long leaders.
@nrlrugbyleague yeah you obviously don't fish enough in Taupo huh guys! Thats cool, I understand your limits. When you learn to throw some weight and start using big chunky bombs, then you need an indicator that can take the weight and not be dragged under with currents and "Ticking the Bottom". They will go under if your flies snag up or a trout takes them, but in general they are more buoyant than any other commercial indicator out there. Is that explained a little clearer for you?!

I wouldn't want an unsinkable strike indicator. Cause then I wouldn't know when I get a strike.
