VW GTI 2008 vs Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart 2009

Une petite course entre amis au début du mois de mars, sur nos pneus d'hiver par une belle journée de printemps! Les deux voitures ont des transmissions automatiques à double embrayage de 6 rapports...

Lancer Ralliart has more horsepower! I'm not surprised with this outcome haha. I really think VW should make the GTI a wee bit more powerful, it would definitely be nicer if it had more than 200hp

if you compare the fuel consumption you can see very clearly why the lancer would win

@bullmore345 actually a sonata taking a gti is very possible. The turbo sonata of course it has 274hp and over 285 on premium gas. I have driven the sonata and it is quicker than gti. Lancer ralliart is a huge ripoff at over 27-28k buy a wrx instead. Mk6 gti actually traps quarter mile faster than ralliart. 97.1mph for Gti vs 95.9mph for ralliart. But this is an mk5 gti which is slightly slower and he was really stupid running from a dig on a snowy day

Hmm from a dig and it is snowy... Any other way you can make the lancer have more advantage ?

From a 15 mph roll a gti with just a tune keeps up with lancer...
