  • I Saw them at Broken Spoke in Austin, TX where they play all the time and there was a line OUT THE DOOR to see them. There were over 700 people at that show. They pack out every venue they play and you have the gall to critcize? As for mainstream Country charts, you keep the Kenny Chessneys and Rascal Flatts of the world my friend if that's who you like. Thse guys keep it real and their fans are proud to have them without selling out.

  • The Derailers will never have the chemistry they had with Tony V.

  • I first saw the Derailers on Austin City Limits several years ago. This is a very good group. This is what country music should sound like, not that crap they force feed us on the radio. Wish they were on the CMA shows on tv. redneck 3:17

  • Ahhhh, Country Music. Great stuff!

  • Heard them several times-First heard them at Fabulos Satellite Lounge in Houston Texas around 1995-I miss Tony being with the band-I have all their CDs -Brian is a great singer too

  • I actually much prefer this version to the album cut. This is the Derailers at the top of their game. Agree with everyone else who said this is preferable to the bubble gum country that is popular today. If bands like this could get some regular airplay, they could make some money and the lineups wouldn't change so often.

  • google Syd Barrett....it will give you a CLUE as to Tony...may he find peace

  • THE DERAILERS ON THE CONAN O'BRIEN SHOW!

    YEEEEHAAAAW!!!!!!

  • @TerlinguaSkies Nearly everybody says that. I support them, but you just can't create that elusive quality of Tony. Where is he today?

  • @tripshaker The Derailers were one of the best country groups, but singer Tony V. left and the band has become a group of corny nerds. The only original member left in the band is Brian H., who is a great guitarist, but he should not use the name The Derailers, because it's very misleading. People still go to the shows expecting to see a completely different lineup and hear the great songs from the first 5 albums, but this new version of The Derailers isn't very good. We could lie and say it is

  • great music

  • I could care less about the Charts" those are airplay ratings from non-stop Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood. I love Honky Tonk and Am grateful some do like Waylon. Pop music was taken over by hip hop so pop music fans have hijacked Nashville, I support traditional Honky Tonk country music where ever I find it. Record companies have such a lock on what gets played I only ever can tolerate about 20% of what is on it. Great artists like Billy Currington, Gary Allan, etc..
