Rovio has experience on running it's games on Symbian and Maemo devices using Nokia Qt SDK. These games include Bounce, a game offering rich 3D graphics controlled by a devices accelerometer and Angry Birds, a casual, puzzle-style game with engaging demolition physics.
We are looking forward to developers testing the Nokia Qt SDK and providing feedback to improve the tool. This beta version is not yet intended for final development. For more info go to: Forum.nokia.com/Qt

  • where can i download bounce evolution for the nokia n8?

i can´t find it in the store

    thx for help :)

  • @repo4 ah i get you, still, my phone can run that doodle jump game, angry birds is no more advanced than that game the graphics are basically the same, at the very least they could just tone down the graphics

  • @vanepico I am talking 3D accelerators (you know, 3D cards, GPUs, a chip that takes care of graphics)

  • @repo4 Angry Birds doesn't even use the accelerometers, but my 5230 has them

  • @vanepico That`s because most of (if not all) phones with S60 are lacking 3D accelerators.

  • This music make me sad :(

  • Don't know why u people comparing Apple to Nokia! Apple is Apple Nokia is Nokia SDK invent by apple

  • so all ths speak about the games being compatible but you cant get angry birds on S60 :(

  • man that bounce game looks orgasmic

  • N8 sux, sorry. Last good device from Nokia was N900. I hope they won't fail with MeeGo.
