  • That's actually Tony Sandler and Ralph Young doing the VO for the commercial. Sandler (a native of Belgium, hence the accent) and Young were a popular easy-listening singing duo in the '60s and '70s, and as the uploader mentioned the ad ran during one of their TV specials.

  • That sounds like actor Keith David.

  • The cars were new in this commercial. Drive them a couple of winters on salted roads and they rusted away to nothing. Rust proofing was poor back then compared to now.

  • So I guess there's a bunch of old GM vehicles stuck in the snow, unable to start, in Canada somewhere. Nice.

  • At 0:17 looks like a 1971 Riviera drives by in a 1972 Ad?

  • You can just hear that Chevy Vega both rusting and it's engine self destructing....

  • Wow, they did not need 4 wheel drive back then. What wimps we have become.

  • Wow! Zbigniew Brezhninski started his career as a GM pitchman!
