This is the journey our two sons, Tim and Todd, took through the Red Sox farm teams, from the rookie league to AAA Pawtucket, during 1992-1999. It is an inside look at the minor leagues, and the Red Sox, written from a mother's perspective. Because of our unique insight, you will take away glimpses rarely seen by baseball fans. Experience the tragedies and triumphs, the long, un-air-conditioned bus rides, the lack of control over their future, as two brothers (16 months apart in age) struggle to get to Fenway Park. Live the moments with Trot Nixon, Nomar Garciaparra, Lou Merloni, Carl Pavano, as they played next to Todd under manager Ken Macha . Experience the baseball strike and personal family traumas.

  • Fascinating journey - offers insights for all parents, aspiring athletes and of course baseball lovers.

  • Great video Pam. Congratulations on the book. I read it cover to cover - amazing what you and your family went through - I had no idea what it took as a mother to develop world class athletes. I recommend this book to parents that have children playing any kind of sports - at all levels!
