I have a pair of Mackie HD1521 for less than a year.
Both are in the shop for repair now. One has a blown LF, and the service tech. is still trying to figure out what's wrong with the other speaker. Seems like Mackie's quality & reliability has gone done the drain. NO MORE MACKIE FOR ME.

My HD1521's both blew their HF units. My Numark rig has been driving other units and 450's for years - NP. These HD1521's are unreliable. Mackie - I want a corrected - validated and proper pair. I spent $3k down the tube on you guys. Neither you or Guitar Center are owning up to anything - please stop telling me its operator error - contact me....

I heard The Mackie HD 1521 AWESOME and I Heard The QSC k12 Not Enough Base!! I Highly Recommended Everyone To Get The Mackie HD 1521 and As far As Mackie going out of Business That's A hoax!!!

All i can say is that these things knock!! My friend has these and they sound powerful, clear, and they dont distort no matter how hard you push them! These speakers are the next generation along with JBL of course! haha
