  • Efforts to engage with the department to renegotiate its obligations were met with no response, the company said.

Department spokesman Bheki Khumalo said: "We dismiss this. We spent more time with Central Rand at the Gauteng office than any other mining company to resolve these issues because of the enormity of the challenges they were facing."

Dear oh dear someone is tell ing porkies.

  • A big laugh at the beginning and no mention of the long suffering shareholders who have lost everything. No mention of the money that has been syphoned away on 'expenses'

At least when the company goes bust which is very likely in the next few weeks now it is next to worthless they can start another company and start the whole shambolic process again.Central rand Gold is 90% under ACID YELLOW WATER.Not just water. The shares are about 1/5 of a penny 0.2p.Make your own mind up.

  • With all the supposed gold in the ground is there any hope that vested interests on both sides would refrain from using every trick in the book to enrich themselves and their cronies at the expense of the local people? No, I don't think so either.

  • no licence, no business. interesting few weeks ahead.

didn't like that laugh at the start i might add.
