You have a unique voice and a great delivery. Don't ever let others convince you that you need to change....you have to be yourself to be authentic. Keep posting your own versions of different songs...you never know who might be looking ;-)

The '71 version is my favorite song because Cooder's guitar work adds to George's melody and guitar lines without taking them over. It has a powerful effect.
After listening to your version 7 times over the last 3 days, I have to tell you I'm impressed. Your vocals get the emotion, your phrasing grew on me, and your guitar puts out full and deep tones.
