Well, the time has come to stand it up. After putting 1 set of nuts on the bolts, the alignment plate is put on the foundation & the nuts are preset for "level". Doing this step keeps the set time to a minimum when the section's flange is indexed in place & lowered over bolts for final tightening. Final positioning is determined by orienting the coaxial "ports" in the right directions for locating the equipment at the base. The pole has 3 ports at the base & space for 4 actual platforms.

This tower site was designed for Mid-Atlantic Broadband Cooperative (mbc-va.com), by RAF Wireless LLC (rafwireless.com).

The tower is located in Appomattox VA & will support Last Mile fiber connectivity for Digital Bridge's WiMAX deployment around Appomattox, called BridgeMAXX. See the next in a series about building a tower site.
