YES! YES! YES!
We have to speak for ourselves and act in our own best interests.
I once read, this needs to be vetted, that when a person appears in court with a lawyer; it is tantamount to saying that one is mentally incompetent to speak for themselves.

This may be a stupid question... What do those from 4Ward and others who campaign for justice for those injured and killed whilst in police custody think needs to change?
There is no question that people suffer injury or death at the hands of law enforcement around the world yet in some of the cases stated the person fights the officers, the force used escalates and injury is caused. Should police officers allow people who fight them to go rather than risk killing them?

thats like a murderer delaying his crime,.

i was in a hospital the other night and was told by staff not to speak to the person in the bed next to my wife's? He was trying to talk too anyone and sounded like he needed help even if it was just someone to talk to. That's policy?

TODAY - An outrageous cover up by the UK CPS. More than a 1000 unlawful deaths in UK police custody have NEVER been brought to justice. Help the victims' families by joining the 'United Families and Friends Campaign' UFFC Campaign Central and help put an end to deaths in police custody. We now await the IPPC's report into the death of Ian Tomlinson - our hearts and support are with the family.
