A short excerpt from the upcoming full length documentary from Emerging Artist Productions.

Scare Me: Behind the Screams is a documentary about life.

In many ways it is a slice of true Americana and the old fashioned "can-do" attitude, whether we are looking at the scenic crews that help design and make magic out of plywood and paint, or the management team that struggles with juggling the many different objectives that keep them working long into the night. Or maybe it is about understanding, and the way the many diverse and incredible people from all walks of life come together for a single common goal.

Though ultimately (and most unlikely) Scare Me is about love. The love of Halloween, the unique camaraderie that cements between the performers and the staff, the caring that goes into each day and the way a single scream can become the most beautiful sound in the world.

Shot on location in San Jose, Sacramento and Tempe Arizona, this documentary chronicles the lives behind the GYRO Haunted Attractions, with on location interviews, infrared video and a true glimpse at the lives of the people behind the masks.
