These are my most favorite parts of the whole Carol Burnett Show. I enjoy watching these and I can see why these were made into a TV show all by itself. They're classics! Thank You.

Oh, wow... Here I sit in Sweden and feelin' nostalgic. I absolutely loved the Carol Burnettt Show and in particular the character "Eunice"... Great memories. These were the bests!

Eunice has serious delusions of grandeur, but i've always sort of felt sorry for her. She was clearly disappointed in life and it was her way of coping by escaping into fantasies of a show biz career.

Well, you know they can substitute drinks in cans and bottles.

There may be water or soda in there instead of the booze. It's a common trick.

P.S. I would also recommend anyone go to the Paley Center for Media in New York, to see a 1971 show on which Rita Hayworth was a guest star. One of the sketches had Carol and Vicki playing loutish celebrity hounds who pester the screen goddess at a restaurant - and Carol was dressed (and bewigged) almost exactly as Eunice (even down to the shoes), preceding the first "Family" sketch by three years.
