A toy theater puppet play based on the modern Oz novels (Paradox in Oz and The Living House of Oz) of creator Edward Einhorn and the illustrations of celebrated artist Eric Shanower (winner of three Eisner awards). It tells the story of a boy living in Munchkin Country, whose mother and friend are both sorcerers, although they know it is against the law. But when Glinda the Good discovers their activities, they have a lot of explaining to do. It is set inside miniature houses, which both serve as little theaters and are also puppets themselves. It features the music of William Niederkorn and the puppets/sets of Berit Johnson and Barry Weil. It is performed by Edward Einhorn, Talaura Harms, Tanya Khordoc and Maxwell Zener. Presented by Untitled Theater Company #61 (www.untitledtheater.com), as part of Great Small Works' Toy Theater Festival at St. Ann's Warehouse.
Actually, it's based on Edward's story "Unauthorized Magic," first published in Oz-Story 5. If you want a copy, I may be able to help you track it down.
