Super Metroid LP part 15: The Ending and Credits

So we have escaped Zebes with the powers of the Metroid now harnessed by Samus. Or did the hyper beam come from Mother Brain? I think it's a combination of both. Metroids are now extinct it seems but on Metroid Fusion we find the Galactic Federation had cloned the Metroid Larva as well. Seriously, Metroids cannot ever go extinct because then this game series won't be able to continue.

The scene with Mother Brain and the Super Metroid will always be awesome. My four year old niece watched me play this game and absolutely loved this scene though was shocked that the Metroid died. After I won it she wanted me to do it again, lol. Several months later she watched me play thru the whole game. She loved the fact that Samus was in fact a female that could kick the asses of huge monsters. I explained that these monsters aren't real and exist for the sole pleasure of being abominations that I was to kill for fun! Even my younger sister who watched TV the entire time I played thru this game once had to stop the TV at this scene so she could see and said she remembered me doing this when she was a kid.

SNES has many epic scenes but this on Super Metroid is one of the best ones. Other awesome scenes include Link actually getting the actual Triforce on Zelda, a Link to the Past. Many scenes on FF6 are awesome including one at the beginning of the game where Locke and the Moogles defend Terra and many more and then having the most fulfilling ending ever! Then in Chrono Trigger, there are many scenes, usually ones where Crono's theme music comes up and many moments in the Kingdom of Zeal as well as the Lavos fight. Secret of Mana has the Mana Beast fight and the Mana Tree scene at the end of the Pure Land. On the DKC games all the last boss scenes are awesome. Then we have the last battle for Yoshi's Island. Maybe I should make a countdown of these things in a future video.

Super Metroid I feel is the most complete game there is! It needs a few exploit fixes so my fast scenic route actually becomes the fastest 100% route in the game. I loved Secret of Mana but that game is clearly incomplete and has dialog issues. The map design and the attention to detail is what makes this game awesome. A decade later I discovered many new things about this game I didn't come to realize back in the day such as the fine intricacies of Maridia's map design that allow for faster passage if you take the right path and the Wave Beam sequence break in Upper Norfair.

The producer of the Metroid series got in a minor car accident and when him and the other person in the car went to see the damage, some car sideswiped them killing Gumpei Yokoi. He left us with Gameboy, Kid Icarus, Super Metroid, and the Metroid Franchise which continues on to this day.

@rubmybelly2127 I'd like to make more of these but I live in a rural area with dial up now (so uploading it impossible) and I need to find another game where I highly understand the details. Secret of Mana might be something I would do but that is a really long game and isn't designed quite as perfectly as Super Metroid.
