Systemic Fraud In Workers' Compensation

The radio, television and print media paint America's injured workers as the ones who game the system and commit the fraud that brings the system to it's knees. But it's actually the insurer and the employers that commit the lion's share. Why don't you hear about this and why doesn't the media have the kahones to tell you the truth! Many injured workers suffer from chronic pain as a result of their injuries. Oftentimes this is acute and must be treated immediately. Medical care is withheld pending appeals, and, because the injured worker is losing all they worked for, the injured worker commits suicide. Cause and effect. The workers comp insurance companies know the effects of chronic pain, poverty, and stress. Not only is it fraud, it is murder in some cases. Pain, poverty, stress inflicted knowingly = death = murder.
