Here in Luang Prabang province, four remote villages have been relocated to this 'New Village' site along the Mekong River. On these 48 hectares, families are rebuilding, but have limited water sources, lack hygienic toilets and sources of income. A primary school should be completed in a few months, but there is no secondary school nearby. Roads to the village are risky, especially during the rainy season. Posted by Adopt a Village in Laos and A Mine Free World Foundation who visited this village to distribute 80 mosquito nets. 100 blankets were distributed courtesy of Le Bel Air Resort in Luang Prabang.
