Indeed you are right. It appears that US foreign policey will always remain the same, just a new spokes person every 4 to 8 years babbling at the podium. But McCain and Obama are different when it comes to other issues other than foreign policey. On the topic of Iran, I highly doubt that the US will attack Iran. Tactical strikes would likely be carried out by Israel.
