Dodge Ram HEMI vs. Chevy Silverado (drag)

ok keep in mind that i have a 2003 Dodge Ram HEMI with a 5.7L V8 with 130,000 miles, a cold air intake system, and a flowmaster exhaust pushing out probably around 350hp. my friend tyler has a 1999 Chevy Silverado 5.3L V8 with 230,000 miles, and bone stock producing somewhere around 270hp. obviously its not a close race by far but i just thought it would be fun!

here is the thing. you're racing a hemi vs a normal work truck basically. put the hemi against an ss, then we'll see who's talking

@speeddemon0712 love the truck btw and i know it was comments from two years ago but engines you read about rated at whatever horse power....your truck rated 345, mines rated at 390 but thats at the crank and if you want to figure out a rough estimate at the rear wheels take about 20% off

@LS6Silverado the hemi has 345 hp stock. 390 hp in the 2009. so sorry, maybe you should read a book or 10

Hey man that's to the crank not the wheels. Nobody rates these at the RWHP they rate them at the flywheel. Just thought i'd throw that in here.
