good effort, but the video is a little preachy, and i dont see any first class sailing going on....sorry....its gonna take a whole lot more than this to convince people that youre approach is viable...
What a clever idea using the concept of moving the lee boards to create weather helm or lee helm to steer, will have to try the idea next time we take out the Paddle Ski,
This is actually my father's video, but yes, he is stearing with the leeboard alone by moving it forward and back. It is not quite a crab-claw sail, but a converted sail canoe sail. THe shorter leach lets him tack and jibe without a lot of head-ache.... ;^)
Very cool! Are you steering by just moving the leeboard forward or aft? Are you using a crab claw sail? I would really like to see some other views of your rig from outside of the boat.
