this is a real 3rd and 4th gear snow drifting with up to 70 mph (110 kmh) on a german country road. No big show, but very precise and quite fast. Best scenes at the end!

  • Hey!

    Super video!

    Ich hab nur eine Frage;

    Sind diese Drifts alle Powerdrifts also am Gas oder übersteuert dein BMW sogar im Schub so stark?

  • @LinkwitzRiley

  • @alu57 Was it in Germany? I think that i saw green police car.

  • @LOTnickPL

    yes, in southern bavaria

    summertires??? With 100km/h on snow??? I love to have fun, but I´m not stupid!

  • @kemzi

    I mean with the comment in the video: "don´t try this on a public road in 3rd gear unless you´ve successfully practiced it 100 times on a closed track before, as I did in Finland"

  • your a pro

  • really nice done, smooth and not even a bit hektik :D

  • @BONZO17full it´s a 535i

  • Do you hit the brake at all when you do this or do you just let the icy road do all the work?

  • @alu57 though generally, I'd agree with you. Some of the best race car drivers in the world developed their skills on the street.

    (no that does not mean go do this in traffic). Doing this in an environment where there isn't traffic, or where you can seek help in case anything happens would be best. Tracks aren't as commonplace as politicians/police would like to assume. That too, many wouldn't allow drifting. You'd get kicked out in a heartbeat.

  • wow ! you definitely know how to drive that car ! I'm a huge subaru fan for winter, awesome control in snow. my 2004 bmw 325i Is definitely not a good daily car for winter but always having a lot of fun with it !
