@94Noack It's that one dimensional thinking that is part of the problem, and it assumes the ignorance of others when the proof is that people generally can distinguish between the actions of individuals as opposed to the group. Of course, this depends on the agenda of those who use as an example the actions of the individuals to further an agenda. People know that the Marine Corps as a matter of principle, does not go around urinating on the dead, or target civilians.

@94Noack The desecration of the dead has been an act perpetrated by individuals in every culture in every nation in every conflict since before recorded history. The decision commit this act has at times been accepted, and at times denounced. The fact is, when these acts are committed, it is the individual who makes that choice, and they will pay the price for their actions. They do not represent the Corps. as a whole. Marines are told to be better than that, and are expected to be so.
