Whatever your views on the man are I can admit that the guy had a presence. The video of him putting his cane on the table had me cracking. Even Mboya is looking at him like, really.
@Dunncy Unfortunately, it is those "few dark spots" that human beings tend to judge us on. Remember the quote by an anonymous deceased US Congressman: If I do something good, no one remembers but if I do something bad, no one forgets.
@hozay247 you are right baddy the lands issue,he took kikuyus land n gave it to the political elites like koinanges dad .Mbiu koinange nthe freedom fighters were sent to rift Vally.
that was the start of it all.
in western Thu we are nbus with rift Vally we dont bay land there easily coz we know the consequences
Kenyatta did not frustrate Obama senior. The guy (obama senior) was a drunkard, and womanizer and this affected his work. He was fired and Kibaki reinstated him. he was too junior an officer for Kenyatta to bother about him.
Don't forget that Kenyatta terminated his opponents. it was Kenyatta who frustrated Obama's father fired him from his ministry job leading to his down fall.If Kenyatta was alive today with his selfish tribalistic mindset he would only care if Obama was from kiambu.
Jeff, with all experience u have u should do better than that i doesnt matter where u have been or who u have interviewed afterall you are a disgrace nothin but a shit hole with a baritone voice that's why ur not with CNN anymore
i strongly disagree with this portrayal. if mzee was alive he would have witnessed Kenyans fight and divide over tribalistic culture that he pioneered
all those utterances were not for the freedom his country and his land they far sighted ambitions to loot the land and opportunities for his family and his tribe....and dont forget jeff koinange, charles njonjo ,and waiyaki is an immediate benefeciary of this no wonder
This is a very good piece of journalistic work and Jeff keep it up. Mzees legacy can never be whittled down to a few dark spots of his otherwise illustrious and visionary leadership that catapulted Kenya onto the world stage, politically and economically speaking, so all haters wameze wembe. Jomo FOREVER!
Great clip. However this is not "eye witness news" Jeff.
