"Multiple Sclerosis: It's a Marathon, Not a Sprint," is a compelling short film following Sarah Mead, winner of the Real MS: Your Story competition, as she prepares for the 2010 London Marathon.

You don't want to miss this truly inspiring story as we celebrate the potential of life beyond MS.

The Real MS campaign comprises a series of inspirational educational competitions throughout 2010 and into 2011. Real MS hopes to give a voice to those whose lives have been touched by MS, and celebrate their journeys, achievements and ideas for the future management of the disease.

  • For shame patdavies. What touching solidarity with a fellow human being living with MS. Here’s the thing. It was an actress in the film. Dramatic shorthand has been used in a very personal message to help show others that an MS diagnosis needn’t stop you doing what you always wanted to do. I think Sarah’s an inspiration – in fact I know she is as I saw her cross the finish line and the months of gruelling effort it took her to get there. For shame patdavies.

  • I was diagnosed 17 years ago after 23 years of symptoms. I did like the video. I never stopped doing whatever I wanted. I won't stop doing whatever I want: to live lifa loving it!

  • I was diagnosed with MS just over two years ago after 12 years of symptoms.

I received my diagnosis by post which is unbelievable but can you imagine what reaction this drama queen would have had if she had received it by post.

Because I have vast experience of MS (And running), I don;t like this video. It is overacted and poor;ly presented. It is baffling that after running 26 miles the stupid woman doesn't show one bead of sweat, no red face, only very slightly puffed out. Utter rubbish
