How to pot mod a green laser pointer in a better way to get Max power. HDmania

AT YOUR OWN RISK i'm not responsible if u mess up your Laser Pointer. It's easy, just get rid of the pot and connect a little piece of cable directly (in this case the blue cable). The song in the background is Eric Entrena vs David Amo let_there_be_light.

I have bought a green laser fom ebay and a soldering iron too and i was looking for a good way to actually do this and this looks great and the comment below says that you still are using the same batteries. But i was curious, Did you completely remove everything connected to the pot too? like the small blackish box thing?

this will fuck your laser diode pretty hard. it may survives one or two minutes with weak batteries though.

You dont have to remove the pot just short it out with a wire. It will do the same thing and you dont have to try to take any pieces off.
