Blood was everywhere. I couldn't stop staring at her stomach. The bullet went right into her stomach. Blood was pouring from the wound. I felt someone shaking me. "Nick! Dude try to stop Miley's stomach from bleeding. Dems is calling an ambulance!" Joe was yelling at me. My mind snapped from staring at her wound. Suddenly Miley started coughing up blood and blood was sliding down her chin. I grabbed a towel that was on the table and kneeled next to her bleeding body. "Listen to me baby. I'll be putting pressure on your wound to stop the bleeding." Miley's eyes were open, but her blue eyes were dazed. She was staring but not at me. I sighed and pressed the towel on her wound. I could hear Miley start to groan. "Nicky... please stop... it hurts too much.." I hated seeing her in so much pain. This made me want to be the one who got shot. "I'm sorry, Smiley. You need this wound to stop bleeding. I need to put some pressure on the wound." Her eyes finally found mine and our eyes were locked on each others. She nodded slightly and coughed some blood from her lungs. I looked at the towel, it was soaked in her red blood. I threw the bloody towel behind me. I shrugged my jacket off and placed it over Miley's bleeding body. I saw more blood leak from her mouth. I placed my thumb on the corner of her mouth and wiped the blood off her mouth. "You'll be okay, Smiley. Trust me." She nodded and mumbled. "For better or for worst baby. Always before the worst." I gently took her hand in mine and waited for the ambulances to come. Demi came rushing back toward us. Black mascara was running down her tan face. "The ambulance will be coming shortly. Is she bleeding badly?" I looked at Demi and nodded. I could feel hot and heavy tears wash down my face for the second time. I saw a figure kneel next to me. Selena removed the jacket that was covering Miley's wound. "Nick.. her blood.." I looked at Selena's frantic eyes and at Miley's bleeding wound. I heard sirens and men were rushing toward us. Once the paramedics took one look at Miley, they rolled the gurney over to her unconscious body. They lifted her bloody body and placed it on the gurney. I grabbed Miley's weak and bloody hand and intertwined our fingers....

Two Hours Later;

How could this have happened to Miley? What has she done to deserve to be shot, and on our day we became intertwined. I sighed deeply and placed my head in my pale hands. I felt a comforting hand on my back. "Nick.. She'll be okay." I looked up to see Selena comforting me. I took a deep breath to hold back my tears. "She wont Selena. You saw all that blood. There is no way she can come out of that operation good as new." I heard small delicate footsteps approach me. I looked forward and saw Kade in front of me. She had a sad look on her face. She placed a small pale palm on my face. "No sad face daddy. Mommy okay?" I knew I couldn't tell her no. So I lied yet again. "Mommy's okay, Kade. Shes just sleeping. Go and sit with Uncle Joey." She skipped to Joe and Joe took her in his arms. He looked over her shoulder and gave me a sympathetic look. "Excuse me? Family of Miley Jonas?" I leaped to my eager feet and raced to the doctor. "I'm her husband. Is my wife alive?" He took a deep breath. "Well she is alive. We managed to get the bullet from inside of her and stitch the wound so she can no longer bleed." I had a feeling there was more. "What else is there?" He took his glasses off and looked me in the eyes. "I'm sorry to inform you Mr. Jonas, but your wife is in a coma." My heart stopped. "Coma? For how long?" I heard Selena ask worriedly. "She can be in a coma for a very long time. Until she come out of the coma, we'll be waiting for any other news. I'm so sorry for this to happen to you." He nodded and left. "Nick.." Selena began to say to me. I just shook my head as the tears washed over my red cheeks. I felt little arms hug my legs. "Its okay, daddy. Mommy's just sleeping. Thats what Uncle Joey says." I looked up at Joe who just simply sighed. I gently picked Kade up in my strong arms and held her close to my heart...
