I first fell in love with this piece while watching a feature film called 'Angel Voices' (1989, starring Michael Williams). It's part of a Mass written by Harold Darke, who also wrote a famous alternative version of 'In The Bleak Midwinter'. I just love English choral music!

@canyak Very many thanks for your kind comment! I must confess, I still haven't heard the rest of the mass, but if it's anywhere near as good as the Sanctus then I must rectify this soon!

I cannot believe no-one has congratulated you on this already. Darke's Mass is a very underrated one and this Sanctus is deeply moving. Thank you for your clear hard work in producing this.
