I always thought Arlene could see out of her mask by the way she held her head.

If only video survived of Imogene and the great Lily Pons on "Your Show of Shows" performing as show girls and look exactly alike. Was the talk of the nation the next morning.

@mca1218 He actually did that with quite a few of his guests (e.g. Esther Williams) -- usually the ones who weren't amazingly good looking, because he got too flustered (like with Mamie Van Doren!). He seems like a sweet man, very gentlemanly with nice manners and very attractive to lots of young ladies I'm sure!

Amazing style was a given back then.

I love whenever Arlene imitates the guests' responses. They try so hard to fool the panelists. Arlene's right, the high voices are usually harder to guess. Unless you're Roz Russell.

Thanks for the upload. I just wonder why the interview her time was so short. Usually the guests stay on for a while and talk for a bit. She is just so cute when she can't stop giggling. :)

She looks so much like Carol Burnett!

@Koenigman Aunt Jenny, Jan's look-alike.

I saw Ms. Coca at the Third Avenue Street Fair here in NY several years ago. She was quite old, yet looked exactly the same as in her glory days (same haircut, same smile). She was with friends, but not one other person appeared to recognize her (but this is NY, after all, and we tend not to make a big deal over celebs). Her work with Sid Caesar was groundbreaking for women in television, and i was honored to have had the opportunity to stand two feet from her..
That gentle forehead-touch at the beginning with John C. Daly was the sweetest, most unexpected gesture of affection I've seen on live television. Makes you wonder if they were close friends in real life. Ms. Imogene seemed to always be smiling and giggling. Thank you for this.
