@cptbigole 131 MPH = 210 KPH

I'll agree with ylism. 130mp/h is plenty fast, twice most legal limits. Acceleration may be a tad slow, but fast enough to outpace any car. You can always do some tuning work to get more umph.
I find it's usually the idiot kids that have mommy and daddy buy them an R1 for a first bike that always post the how "slow" it is comments. They are also the reason why Insurance rates are out to lunch..because they usually wreck what they can't handle.
Stupid squids....

If you don't know how to shift or use the gearbox properly, you're in no position to see how fast you're bike can go..just sayin".

@Mc13oner yeah i do clutchless on a cruiser 1 gear is always finnicky depending on your revs and reaction better of using the clutch... this is just my personal experiences cheers for the vid =)

@grahamlocklin you can lower the suspension on the bike, the guy before me who had my fazer was 6ft and he had the shocks up full setting

@Mc13oner You're lucky if you have no issue at 5'8" putting your feet flat. I had a GS500F, no issue with my feet. I went to the DL650 Vstrom and I could only put my toes down. I've since tried on the GSX650F, Fazer 8, GSF1250, CBR1000 and I have issues putting my feet down on both sides. I'll have to search for an FZ6 to try out come spring, hopefully it fits. :D Thanks for the feedback.
For a person who is 5'8" tall, how do you find your ability to put your feet down on both sides of the bike? I'm considering buying one of these but I'm not sure.....

@grahamlocklin I never had trouble putting my feet down with this bike or any bikes for that matter.

I shift around 6-8000 RPM on Avg. Shifting at higher RPM did seem to help the shifting greatly at first. At around 2000 mi it no longer seemed to matter and now sometimes at higher RPM the bike even seems to grind a little in gear at very hi rpm, very notchy hard to get into gear, At any RPM and any gear. Dealer was able to advise to lube the shift linkage points. This helped the notchy part but still hard to shift at times. I have not tried clutchless shifting? How is this done safely?

@az4runner4fun Just apply slight pressure on the shifter with your toes and let off the gas. The gear should shift automatically and should be buttery smooth.

@Mc13oner I will give it a try thanks for your help!

@az4runner4fun Do it from 2-3-4-5-6 gears. 1st gear is a little trick with clutchless shifting.
