http:musicthatcooks.blogspot.com Please click my blog link below for my performance dates and my instructional DVD info. This video is a tribute to my father Paul Jones who played the spoons on the Major Bowes Show from 1939 to 1942. Then played on Ted Mack's Original Amateur Hour in 1960. As a boy of 13, he created new rudiments to keep time to the new music that he loved... SWING. As a boy of 8, I learned at his knee. As I grew older I adapted his unique style to jazz and rock-and-roll music. My father made many friendships in the entertainment business, and now my heart goes out to the many entertainers working to rebuild New Orleans. So, please help... and give generously. Thank you so very much. Thank you Pete Fountain!

  • I just learned to do this today. The trick you did on your mouth was too cool, never seen that before.

  • Thank you, ECYL. Many people think I'm hitting my teeth, but of course that would not be good. I'm glad you like it. Thank you for your comment. Keep practicing!

  • wow, that was really impressive. How long have you been playing?

  • I began learning to play when I was 6, bassguitarrocker3. So... 47 years! ;o)
