@whattheheckevr Thanks for commenting, but I'd encourage you to read the book before making any judgments. I would affirm that we might become sons and daughters of God, but only on the basis of Christ. We're not born that way; we're "born again" that way. While it may be true that society has overcomplicated some of Jesus' teaching, it's also true that because of our current society, we miss many of the cultural references that would have been apparent to Jesus' first audience.

I agree in some ways,but i may differ on what your book may say.His sayings are more simple than alot of people who have become more complex than that due to society.I believe Jesus was saying we are all the sons and daughters of God.
