  • It is illegal to take Hermit Crab out of the wilf if you can't provide sufficent care. You have not one thing that crab needs to live besides the salt water.

    Return him.

  • Thanks for watching ...Interesting presumption you make ...Regards

  • so, did it die yet? it must have died in a couple of months living in a tank like that.

  • Thats sooo cool! Wow my hermit crabs are like the size of a quarter! And I thought that was big!! :o

  • dude i hope for ur sake your no arrested for this, marine animals and other animals liek reptiles are highly protected. hes prolly got a family in the ocean at staten, take it back u loser.

  • @dlindeman I hope you know that saltwater isn't just water mixed with salt, right?

  • Wow you need sand...so when he molts her can dig his spot under the sand not the gravel it's bad for him...trying to help your poor thing out :)

  • Aww.. how cute is this crab:) How is he or she faring now? if you need any aid or advice in crab care, drop me a line. I've kept and raised crabbies before with high success xd.

  • Why did you take it from it's home? Poor thing. By the way, it needs sand!

  • was it taking a shit or was that eggs?

  • also, i doubt it was washed up on the beach, it was just living. I wish people would leave them alone - they are not meant 2 be pets. You need the proper temp. and humidity and moulting is difficult. aww
