  • Why can't networks do stuff like this anymore?

I don't think the actors on the shows that air on any network now would ever do what these actors did 20 years ago!

  • in 1989, it was Copied by Seven Network in Australia, and was retitled Only The Best on 7.

  • @deangelomywayentfan you left out KAMR-TV Amarillo, Texas

  • @corrupt200 Everybody knew Fox already. Come to think of it, I didn't see Jim Perry either.

  • @AllisonTheSNLGuru Why can't Networks do this anymore? Because people's attention spans are so narrow these days that a 3 minute commercial for anything would seem like an eternity to the average viewer.

  • Love Highway To Heaven and Miami Vice and hunter some great shows. But they didn't ever show Don Johnson as sonny Crockett in the ad

  • The Tonight Show was better when Johnny Carson was the host. I remember how much fun it was too be allowed to stay up to watch Johnny (well, mostly the monologue). I also loved NBC, during this time. I loved Alf, The Cosby Show and The Golden Girls.

  • @NitekMuscle I think the party ended in 2004 when Frasier ended

  • @deangelomywayentfan and WBZ-Boston (though it became a CBS affiliate in 1995)

  • @Zuckdawg A little cheese never hurt anybody. It sure makes brocolli taste better!

  • This gathering of NBC stars became more than special when everyone started doing the electric slide at 2:28!

  • they did this kind of in australia on ch 7 in 1995/96 only was on tv for about 6/7 months there one for ch 10 news adds in 1994/96 now with 2000-2011 with new tv shows the procers can't came up with new ideas for tv ads so the ratings are going down but the tv shows are spin of of 1970's shows are bit boarding thats how i feel/see it on tv
