Personally I believe it has been a systemic problem unattributed to any specific person or group. Sure the IMF and World Bank have fucked things up for a lot of poor people, but they are acting on behalf of a malfunctioning global system. @UkTruthSeeker2009 There are comments on this video from individuals who out right attack the man personally. And there is still legitimate debate about "over-population". Personally, I believe if we took massive farm subsidies away and allowed the poor of the global south to work small to medium sized farms for preservation AND profit, we'd have a lot better situation. Especially since it would decrease rural-to-urban migration and focus more on the rural sector enrichment.
