প্রয়াত সলিল চৌধুরীর এ এক অনবদ্য রচনা। '৭১ এর মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সেই উত্তাল দিনগুলোতে এ গানের প্রতিটি শব্দ প্রতিটি যোদ্ধা-অযোদ্ধা বাঙ্গালীকে যে কি পরিমাণ উদ্বেলিত করেছিল, আমি আজো তা মনে করতে পারছি। সলিল চৌধূরি মনে-প্রাণে যে একজন খাটী বাঙ্গালী ছিলেন, মনের মাঝে নিশ্চয় পূঞ্জীভূত ছিল এক মুক্ত স্বদেশকে দেখবে বলে। অন্তরে খাটি বাঙ্গালী না হলে এ ভাষা কারো লেখনী দিয়ে মুক্ত বাতাসে বয়ে বেড়াতে পারত না কখনোই। শ্রদ্ধা সলিল চৌধূরীকে।

@ Pragga2001: comrade absolutely true.....you are correct and I admit my share of faults. But the song was written in 1948 typically against the background of Indian political scenario. so i expected some relevant video of that time period. OWEVER, I MUST SAY THAT YOU ARE CORRECT IN YOUR UNDERSTANDING and i only wanted to focus on the historical specificity and noting more than this. however, thanks for uploading it and teaching me something inspiring.
