Georg Philipp Telemann - Ouverture f Moll
Dirigent: Achim Fiedler
Nina Corti: Tanz und Choreographie
Cembalo: Laurens Patzlaff
Georg Philipp Telemann, 1681 Magdeburg- 1767 Hamburg.
Achim Fiedler, born in Stuttgart, first studied violin
with Saschko Gawriloff and chamber music with the
Amadeus Quartet at the Cologne Academy of Music.
Following a violin grant to the London Guildhall School,
he continued his training by studying Conducting with
Franco Gallini in Milan and Thomas Ungar in Stuttgart.
He was subsequently invited to be a Conducting
Fellow in Tanglewood/USA at a master-class held by
Seiji Ozawa. Soon afterwards he became an assistant
with Bernard Haitink and Carlo Maria Giulini. Achim
Fiedler received the Herbert von Karajan grant in 1997
and was an award winner in several international
conducting competitions including, in 1996, 1st prize in
Cadaqués/Spain. He conducts numerous orchestras:
the Dresden "Sächsische Staatskapelle", the Berlin
Symphony Orchestra, the Radio Philharmonic of the
NDR Hanover, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and the
orchestras of Sevilla, Barcelona and Gran Canaria.
Ninas father was soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of Tonhalle Zurich, Switzerland. From a very young age she was surrounded by classical music. At an early stage of her career, Nina began to be fascinated by the art of Spanish dance and flamenco. After intensive training with the best teachers in Madrid and Seville, her artistic life led her very quickly to the most famous Spanish flamenco virtuosos.
Highlights of Ninas career were performances with many of the greatest Symphony Orchestras of Europe. She has danced with the Vienna Philharmonic in Musikvereinssaal Vienna, the Gewandhaus Orchestra in Leipzig, the Dresden Philharmonic in the Semperoper, and in a sell out concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London performing with soloists José Carreras, and Maxim Vengerov. Nina Corti was on stage with James Last, Los Reyes, Gipsy Kings, Manolo Gimenez, Mario Regis, Chico & the Gypsies, Manitas de Plata, Vasili Saleas, „José Luis Carmona, José Miguel & Juan & Antonio Carmona, (Ketama), Potito, Ruben Dantas, Jorge Pardo, Peter Erskine, Steve Khan, Carles Benavent, Ramon el Portuges, Enrique Morente, Guadiana, Pepe Habichuela, Luis Pastor, José Maria Molero, Gerardo Nuñez, José Mercé, Miguel de la Tolea, José Soto, Enrique Soto, Chaleco, Pepe Justicia, Manuel Palacin, El Mimbre, Ignazio Vidaechea, PEDRO PEREZ ONTIVEROS, Nippy Noya, Karoly Puka, Kalman Balogh, Daniel Schnyder, Ana Ibarra, Vince Mendoza, Libor Sima, Klaus Graf, Obi Jenne, Klaus Wagenleiter, Mini Schulz, Andi Maile, Axel Kühn, Jörg Kaufmann, Shao-Chia Lü, Toshiyuki Kamioka, Josep Caballé-Domenech, Héctor Sandoval, Steven Sloane, Gerd Albrecht, Achim Fiedler, MarioVenzago, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, Rundfunksinfonieorchester des NDR und des BR, Wiener Sinfoniker, Dresdner Philharmonie Hamburger Staatsor¬chester, Tonhalle Orchester Zürich, Beethoven Orchester Bonn, Sinfonieorchester Wuppertal, Bochumer Symphoniker, NWD Philharmonie, WDR Big Band, Sinfonietta Basel, Heilbronner Kammerorchester, SWDKammer Orchester, Cappella Istropolitana, Stefania Verita, Rolf Lislevand, Carmina Quartet and so on...
