Les Miserables is a musical adaptation of Victor Hugo's great humanitarian novel of one man's determined survival in the face of another's vengeful persecution.
Set amid the social and political struggles of 19th century France. The dramatic score includes numbers such as "On My Own", "One More Day" and "Do You Hear The People Sing". On October 8, 2006, the show celebrated its 21st anniversary and became the longest-running West End musical in history and is still running (though it has changed venues).
Superbreak Staff Verdict: "The longest running show in West End and Broadway History --and the night I went it looked like half the audience were younger than the show. If you only have the chance to see one show, see Miz."
