Paul Weiler, retired Harvard Law School professor, is celebrated in this observational documentary, featuring aspects of his life, family, and professional activities. Although Paul faces a neurodegenerative disorder, he still maintains the ability to perform a vast array of everyday functions, in his own way. It is our hope that those who know Paul feel that we have captured Paul's essence, and to those that do not know him, that we have presented a clear view of some of the portions of the life of this remarkable man.

We are incredibly grateful to Paul, his wife Florrie, and caretaker Angelita Altea for allowing us into their home and lives for the past few months in order to make this film. Special thanks to Greg Gigg and Shiela Vargas for their willingness to appear in the film and to Robb Moss and Jennifer Malin for their consistent help and support with this project.

Directed and edited by Jacob Beech and Kyle Werder, both Harvard College students in the Class of 2014. This film was produced as the second project of the semester for the introductory film course, VES 50, taught by Robb Moss. The original shooting medium was 16mm color film with an Aaton camera. Through the process of digitization, some quality has unfortunately been lost.
