I bet he can say "crotch."

When was this made? It sounds really amazing, especially since it's made for the commodore 64.

i prefer SAM, he had a funny personality

@Helldiver450 I think what this system does is transform complete recordings of real voices, such as a spoken sentence, into a highly compressed format using formants and pitch, possibly with a noise channel. Then, the synthesizer reproduces the waveforms. The synthesizer isn't generating the changing tones of the voice, the inflections, or the accents. Compare with watch?v=Jx2FDZIvg_0, where these are computer generated. Notice the difference?

Shall we play a game?

The "game" didn't look or sound all that impressive even for the C64.

I had a similar software, called "Il chiacchierone" (the chatterbox), on a C64 tape... it seems an hacked version of this cartdrige, but it runs without external chips so I think that it's only a software solution!

BEE SHEVUNTEEN BAWMER! LOL.

That thing can't sing.
Sounds better than microsoft sam, this one actually changes the tone of voice during speech, unlike the absolete narrator...

Close! It can be argued it's of similar pedigree. It's a custom chip developed outside of Commodore R&D, but for CBM, by the TI Speak and Spell team.
