Tooling around on Denver's 16th Street Mall, chanting: I hate everything during an Occupy protest about Denver's notoriously "beaty" cops....see them on the bikes....everything is so horribly screwed up and blah blah blah. I'm not a "spokesmodel" for anything, and I realize that this vid could sound like I am mocking the "movement", but I am not. I found this night very invigorating.

  • I'd go down there more if I wasn't soi exhausted.

  • Incredible energy!

  • @sottier ............gets more incredible all the time if one gets out of the house and goes to LOOK.

  • good stuff thanks for uploading

  • @puertoirish ........................DENVER has never been so vibrant. Sure, there are a lot of BUGS in the works, and that's what they would all call ME, but, I am so excited to see people put down the VIDEO games and walk for miles. I am being rather Bart SIMPSONish to chant I Hate Everything, but seriously, I am pushing 50, and I am really hard pressed to come up with a cloud of respect for any public leader in my lifetime.

  • Hell yea the world is coming alive for more people and the middle class is cringing and joining something is going on maybe something in the water?

  • Good slogan: "Down with Killer Cops! Police Terror/Brutality's [better word, but too many syllables] Got to Stop!"

Bad Slogans: "Oink, Oink, Bang, Bang; Everyday the Same Old Thing!", "From Denver to Greece, Fuck the Police!", "One Cop, One Bullet", etc.

If DABC modified their rhetoric slightly and reached out to e.g. Shorter AME Church, we might have had twice as many marchers, and our prospects for affecting the public discourse about police abuse would be improved.
