This is my second time making an exhaust can out of a thermos.It seems to work really well best $12.00 i ever spent.LOL How does it sound?

Man. I've been looking for a new muffler and exhaust for my 150cc GY6 scooter engine and all I can find are systems that are outrageously expensive. I got my scooter BRAND NEW, still in the crate, for only $600, (plus $200 for shipping). It would kill me to spend more than a hundred bucks just for another exhaust system. I found a new header pipe for under $40 but no luck in finding a reasonably priced muffler.
Since mufflers are rather simple, making one seems like the way to go.
